After giving three big hits, Appu, Akash and Arasu, Power star Puneet Rajkumar is back into action in his next flick, Bindaas, which is basically a love story. Bindaas tells the story of a candid guy who falls in love with a young girl and in order to win her, he gets involved in criminal activities. The characterization of the protagonist is the same as in the film, Appu but the plot is different. Former child artiste Hansika Motwani plays the female lead.
The movie is directed by D. Rajendra Babu, who is making a comeback after a gap of 18 months. The movie, with a right mix of emotions, sentiments, action and comedy, is being produced by Chandrasekhar under the banner of Udaychandra Productions.
The story is penned by Janardhana Maharishi, who also penned the story of Akash and Arasu. Suman of Sivaji the Boss plays the role of a villain in the film. The other cast members include Nazar, Rahul Dev, and Vanita Vasu. Venu cranks the camera and Gurukiran helms the music. Veteran fight choreographer Vijayan composes the fight sequences of the film.
The tagline for the film is "Be Happy.No BP".
