Sakha Sakhi - Preview

Thiruda Thirudi in Tamil is being remade in Kannada as Sakha Sakhi by director Dayal. He says that though the film was inspired by the Tamil movie, he has not made a total copy of the original; he has added a few changes in the plot to suit the Kannadiga audience and his style of making films. The Kannada version also promises to be a romance, fun-filled about Sunil and Chaya; both are intelligent, naughty, and always wanting to be the best at anything.

Predictably, they meet, fight, compete with each other, fight again, challenge each other, try to prove he / she is the best and superior to the other, fall in love with each other, become inseperable, then there are hurdles to their love, etc. It is reported that songs have been shot at some unique locations, one at Rameshwaram, where Kannathil Muthamittal was shot for the Tamil version.
