Crazy Star Ravichandran gave a shocking news on his birthday (May 30) to his fans. The man, who has one of the highest fan followings among Sandalwood stars, had reportedly said that he would bid goodbye to acting and he wants to engage himself behind the camera. Well, here is a good news, which has arrived straight from the horse's mouth, for his fans. The actor-turned-director has now claimed that he never decided to take a complete break from acting!
Ravichandran says that he never said that he would bid goodbye to acting. All he claimed that he wants to concentrate on his sons' careers and he won't be acting in their films. The actor also point outs that he doesn't know anything other than cinema. "I never announced that I wouldn't act anymore. I only said that I'd like to concentrate a little more on my children's careers and will not play the hero in their films. Cinema is the only thing I know; what can I do besides that?" the Times of India quoted the actor as saying.

An End To Rumours
But Ravichandran's decision to act in Sudeep's directorial forthcoming movie surprised many. Now, his confirmation on his retirement has put an end to all the rumours.
Meanwhile, Ravichandran is busy with multiple projects. While his upcoming movie Crazy Star is getting ready for the release, his directorial movie Andhu, the launchpad of his son Aryan, is in the pre-production stage.
But the fans of Ravichandran are desperately waiting for his seven-year-old pet project Manjina Hani. Recently, there were reports that the project is being delayed for monetary reasons. Well, he has denied the rumours.

Ravichandran has said that only 15 minutes of graphic works are pending for Manjina Hani. But each minute of the work takes 45 days.
When asked about his son's launchpad, Ravichandran said that the homework for Andhu has begun. He wants to make the film to suit the tastes of the present generation audience.
Ravi As Kiccha's Father
On the other end, Ravichandran is all set to play the role of Kiccha Sudeep's father in the untitled Kannada movie. It is the remake of Telugu hit movie Mirchi and he is enacting the character played by Sathyaraj in the original.
Will Juhi Chawla Return?
Efforts are being made to convince Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla to play the female lead opposite Ravichandran. Nothing has been confirmed yet. The actress had worked in a few Kannada movies including Prem Loka and Kindari Jogi.
