Director S Mahender marries an economics student

Director S Mahender, whose 13-year-marriage with Shruti ended last month, has married an economics student named Yashodha on February 3. They tied the knot at a low-key ceremony in Shivalankara temple, Mekedaatu, Kanakapura taluk.

Reports say that the bride Yashodha, who happens to be a distant relative of S Mahender, was chosen by his parents. She is studying her final year MA in Mysore University. Their wedding was attended by their immediate family and close friends.

It may be recalled that S Mahender was earlier married to actress Shruti in the year 1998 and they got divorced in 2011. Shruti is also expected to tie the knot with a former journalist-turned-film director Chandrachud.
