The latest movie to do rocking business is Shahrukh Khan's Hindi movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which was released on Tuesday (November 13). The film has been grandly welcomed by people in Karnataka. Especially, it has done good business in Mysore and Bangalore regions.
The most surprising part of the story is that Mysore region has done good business than other metros. In fact, Mysore is among the top five collecting regions for Jab Tak Hai Jaan on the opening weekend.
Reports say that most of the theatres in Mysore ran for packed houses. Especially, multiplexes witnessed cent percent occupancy on the release day. People from the age group between 10-30 were seen going crazy about Jab Tak Hai Jaan directed by late Yash Chopra.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which stars Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, release largely affected Kannada films, and Darshan's Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna was one among them. Adding to that Tamil movie Thuppakki starring Vijay slowed down the collections of local language films.
