Dialogue King Sai Kumar will be seen in the biggest-ever role of his career. The actor, who has signed Upendra starrer Kalpana, is doing the role of a eunuch in the upcoming Kannada movie.
It is said that the makers of Kalpana considered a few names for the role of a transgender. However, the movie bosses felt that Sai Kumar could do complete justice for the character played by Sarath Kumar in the original. Hence, they have zeroed in on him.
Directed by Rama Narayan, Kalpana, a remake of Tamil-Telugu superhit movie Kanchana, will hit the floors on December 14. Lakshmi Rai, who played the love interest of Lawrence Raghavendra in Kanchana, will be enacting the same role in Kannada version as well.
