Kannada Superstar Upendra has become an item of speculation ever since he announced his comeback to direction through the movie Super (Sakath, Hand Symbol). Now, the latest buzz about Uppi Dada is that he has reportedly dumped musician Gurukiran from the upcoming multi-lingual project.
The rumours of ditching Guru started making rounds following the reports that actor-cum-director Upendra has roped in V Manohar to score music for the movie Super. Gurukiran entered film industry through Uppi's film A, which gave him a big break through. Later, he has scored music for all Uppi movies. But there is no clear reason about why he has now been thrown out of the project.
However, the film Super is the 25th film under Rockline Venkatesh's own banner. So the producer has symbolically planned to invest Rs. 25 crores in the project. He has roped in Tamil actress Nayantara for female lead and has already done a photoshoot spending a whooping amount of Rs. 25 lakhs. The movie has started shooting from 17th February.
