Actor Sudeep, who is very happy after his Kannada movie Kichcha Huchcha got good opening at the Sandalwood Box Office, has lot of appreciation for Bollywood actor Vivek Oberai and Tamil actor Surya. On Twitter, he praised their performance in the Bollywood movie Rakta Charitra part I, which has hit the screens across the globe today.
The movie Rakta Charitra, which is an Indian biographical film based on the real life of Paritala Ravi. It features popular stars like Surya, Vivek Oberoi, Priyamani, Shatrughan Sinha, Radhika Apte including Sudeep. The Kannada actor is playing a DCP in the film. Talking about the film on Twitter yesterday, Kicha tweeted, "(I) saw Rakta Charitra. Awesome performance by Vivek and Surya. Best wishes."
Ram Gopal Varma's Rakta Charitra is all about the life of Telugu Desam Party leader Paritala Ravindra (played by Vivek Oberoi) from the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. He was a minister in NT Rama Rao's (played by Shatrughan Sinha) regime. He was allegedly murdered by Suryanarayana Reddy (played by Surya) in the year 2005.
According to Sudeep, Rakta Charitra is a modern-day 'Mahabharata'. It is five-hour-long film and is being released in two parts as Rakta Charitra part I and II. Each part is of two-and-a-half hours" duration. The part I has been released today and the part II will be released 30 days after the first. Talking about his role in RC, Sudeep tweeted, "Most of my scenes are in Rakta Charitra part II. He further tweeted, “RC II will be releasing 3 weeks post RC I."
However, Sudeep has recently completed the shooting for his upcoming Kannada film Veera Parampare and is now busy in its post-production works. He has also got other Kannada projects like Kanwarlal and Kempe Gowda, which he will start shooting very soon. He has got another project with Dwarakish, which is presently being shot. If sources are to believe, he is to direct Hat-trick hero Shivaraj Kumar in 2011.
