Speaking to Oneindia, Yogaraj Bhat said, "Yes, we are in talks from quite some time. I have written the script having Puneet Rajkumar in mind. The characterisation and narration will be completely different and you will see different Puneet in the film."
According to a reliable source, Raghavendra Rajkumar and Puneet are very much impressed with the script. They have told the director to complete the script so that they could launch the movie soon after the completion of Hudugaru, a remake of Tamil movie Nadodigal.
It may be recalled that the director had approached the actor for his earlier blockbusters like Mungaru Male and Gaalipata. But the project did not happen as the actor felt that the script would not suit his image.
