Diganth and Nidhi Subbaiah starrer Pancharangi, which has been directed by Yogaraj Bhat, is said to have earned nearly Rs. 10 crores at the Sandalwood Box Office. Now, the film bosses are reportedly releasing the film in 20 Taluka areas this week. Sources claim that they are also planning to release it overseas by the end of this month.
It was reported earlier that the movie had raked in Rs. 1.58 crore in the first week. But the word of mouth boosted the collection, which went up to Rs. 1.99 crore in the second week. Sources claim that the movie has collected more than Rs one crore in the next five weeks. The total collection of Pancharangi is about Rs. 10 crores.
Pancharangi was to release in 45 centres in the first week, but due to theatre problem, the bosses of the film had to release it 39 theatres only. Currently, the film is running in 20 plus theatres. Sources claim that the film bosses are said to be releasing it in 20 Taluka areas today.
The movie bosses are likely to release Pancharangi overseas this month end. It is said that they are also in talks with a few distributors to release it in Chennai and Hyderabad. Meanwhile, it is also rumoured that a Tamil film producer has bought its remake rights of Tamil and Telugu and he is yet to sign the formal deal.
