Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) is organizing a function to pay tribute to late Kannada actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan. Dr. Jayamala, the KFCC President, has said that a function is being held at Gayathri Vihar, in Palace Grounds, Bangalore tomorrow (January 05, 2009).

Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and Home Minister VS Achrya will inaugurate the function. Several Sandalwood celebrities will attend the mourning function. Karnataka Government has already decided to set up Vishnu's memorial at the Abhiman studios. Dr. Raj and Vishnu Film City will be built similar to Ramoji Rao Film City. CM BS Yediyurappa has promised Rs.10 crore to set up the memorial along with two acres of land.

However, Dr. Vishnuvardhan was suffering from some health hazards for the past five years. Recently, he had been to Mysore for rest. He was admitted to Vikram Hospital Mysore when he complained of severe chest pain. He died of heart attack on 30th December 2009. He was cremated with full state honours at the Ambhiman Studios.

This dubious KFCC never gave respect to Vishnuvardhan when he was alive or listened to his advice. They may be overwhelmed by the amounts of fans who attended his funeral and are shocked hence to show Kannadigas are doing this ceremony. Vishnu never needed their help to become a great actor or superstar and became a superstar despite of KFCC or shall we say RFCC and will not need them to remember him. So please continue with your politics as usual and do not bother about respecting great humans like Vishnu and Ashwath. All People can be fooled sometime but ALL PEOPLE CANNOT BE FOOLED ALWAYS. We know whom deserves our respect and how to remember people.
