The music of Tharun Chandra and Radhika Pandit starrer Gana Bajana, which was released three months ago, has got extra-ordinary response from the music lovers. Now, it has leaped to the third spot in Sandalwood music chart. Director Prashanth Raj hopes that it breaks the record set by two big movies Jackie and Pancharangi.
Prashanth Raj, who is all excited about the music of Gana Bajana, spoke to Oneindia. He said, “In the music chart, Jackie is in the top place followed by Pancharangi in the second spot. Gana Bajana is in the third spot. More than 40000 audio CDs of Gana Bajana have already been sold and we have got orders for more CDs from the market."
The director said that downloading of its caller tunes is sort of a record. He said, "Jackie songs are the highest downloaded caller tunes online and Gana Bajana is in the second place. More than one lakh caller tunes of the movie have been downloaded by the music lovers.
He added, “Lyricists Kaviraj and V Nagendra Prasad penned six songs for Gana Bajana and popular musician Joshua Sridhar composed the tunes. The songs like 'Hosadondu Hesaru Idu...', 'Naanu Iga Naane...' and title track 'Gana Bajana... have become chartbusters even without broadcasting on any TV channel. Now, these songs are also making buzz on FM Radio channels."
Gana Bajana, produced by Naveen, is Prashanth Raj's third movie as a director. Now, it is set for release on 29th of this month. Prashanth Said, “I hope the music of Gana Bajana breaks the records of Jackie and Pancharangi and sets its own record."
