Director B Suresh's movie Puttakkana Highway is nearing the completion of its post-production works. On his Facebook page, B Suresha has posted that the movie has completed the works of background score on 18th December and the film crew will start DTS mixing work for the film. The final copy of the film is expected to come out by the end of this month.
The movie started its shooting from October 27 and completed the filming on 7th December. After finishing the dubbing on 14th December, it began background score. On his Facebook page, B Suresh writes, "Background score work for Puttakkana Highway will complete tonght (18th December). DTS mixing work will start from tomorrow. Everything is moving faster according to our plans."
Puttakkana Highway features actor Prakash Raj and actress Shruthi in the lead roles and Neenaasam Achyutha, Rajesh and Veena Sundar are in other cast. It is based on the novel 'Puttakkana Medical College' by prominent director Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar. It is a realistic film and will give good message to the society. It revolves around the government acquisition of land belonging to poor farmers for the construction of a highway.
The movie is all about the battle waged by A brave woman Puttakka against the nexus between the government and the contractors. It throws light on how she fights against the corrupt practices and how the unresponsive administration foils all her plans to retain her land. Actress Shruthi is now set to rock the screens as Puttakka in the film.
Puttakkana Highway is being produced by Prakash Raj and B Suresh under the banners Duet Movies and Media House. After the success of the film Naanu Nanna Kanasu, both the producers are in full zoom and are all excited about their latest project. Director-cum-producer B Suresh says that the film has got a mass appeal and it surely impress the audience of all the sections.
