After the Bollywood movie Rann, Kicha Sudeep has released his movie Just Maath Maathalli. Earlier he has done a successful movie Mussanje Maathu with Ramya. Now, he is back with his successful pair Ramya in Just Maath Maathalli. Like MM, JMM is also a romantic love story.
Kannada actor Sudeep has lot of promotional works for the movie JMM. The Premier of the movie was star-studed even and Ram Gopal Varma was the highlight of it. During the premier of the movie, he spoke to us at oneindia. Here are the excerpts of actor Sudeep interview.
What is the theme /message in JMM?
Deliberately, I've not done any serious effort in the direction of a special theme/message. But yes! There are small messages, which are very useful for the audience.
How different is the movie JMM from Mussanje Maatu?
There are no much difference in both the movies. Both are romantic love stories. The only difference is that I appeared as a radio jockey in MM, where as I play a singer in JMM.
How is your on-screen chemistry with actress Ramya?
I don't like to comment on it. You need to watch it on-screen only.
The title song of the movie JMM has been short with full white background and it has come out very well. What is special about it? And how did you get that concept?
There is nothing special about it. While writing script, I got an idea that I should picturise the title song like that. We haven't raised a big set for it and it's just 22x22 white background set. I'm very happy that it has come out very well.
There are reports about your new movie with Ram Gopal Varma. What would you say?
Yes! RGV is making a bilingual movie in Kannada and Hindi. Phoonk fame Milind is directing and I'm playing the hero in the movie, which is titled Nirnaya. Heroine and other cast are yet to be decided.
How is the response for the music of JMM?
Music is the main highlight of the movie. We have received huge response for it. Raghu Dixit has composed wonderful music for six songs of JMM. We've already got good response from the listeners.
How are your promotion of JMM going on?
We've done lots of promotional works for JMM. Especially I'm promoting the songs and trailers of JMM on my Facebook account. Lakhs of people are visiting my account every day. I'm getting many calls from fans in abroad. I'm really very excited.
What are your next projects in Kannada?
I don't think too much about tomorrow (future).
