Late Dr. Vishnuvardhan's much-expected movie Aaptha Rakshaka is all set for statewide release on Shivaratri, February 12. After much hiccups it is finding its way to silver screen. The Audio of Dr Vishuvardhan's 200th movie has generated a record sales.Guru Kiran has composed six songs for which Kaviraj, V Manohar, Goturi has penned the lyrics.

Aaptha Rakshaka is the sequel of Apthamitra which is made with a budget of Rs. 8 crores. Krishna Prajwal is the producer and P. Vasu has directed the film. The film features five heroines like Bhavana, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Nikita, Vimala Raman and Sandya. Avinash, Srinivas Murthy, Komal and Ramesh Bhat are the cast.
