APTHARAKSHAKA is the biggest hit in recent times and has got such a opening which is "UNHEARD" of in Kannada film industry. Dr.Vishnu is at His best specially in Howla,Howla role.. Fans frenzy could be felt across... In Prasanna Theater alone in Vijaynagar-Blr Fans have put "2000 GARLANDS" which is a RECORD !!! VISHNU is VISHNU, There can never be another VISHNU. Btw. read Bangalore times of 19th Feb'2010 which said a Kannada movie ticket running in the black market at Rs.3000/=, Can U beat this ??? Btw. the highest was MAGADHEERA at Rs.800/= and SIVAJI (Rajini starrer) at Rs.1000/= Now APTHARAKSHAKA has broken all records. FANS have put Garlands worth Lakhs of rupees across in all theaters. Vishnu's charisma remains irrespective of wherever he is. SUPERSTAR of all times is sad to note "physically" not with us.

Hi, i am fm andhra, very rarely i see kannada movies, till date i have seen mungaru male and aptamitra in theatre. But this time my friend took me out to Aptharakshaka, i felt this movie is not lessthan any telugu movie, even it has been picturized better than magadheera and arundhati. but now aftre reading this review is that, kannada media wont support kannada films. if the same movie would have been done in andhra, our media would have been praised the mve such way that, alll the indian industry would have seen the movie.

Yes thats true. Since there is lack of self respect in Karnataka. But now a days its improving .. :) Even though Magadheera a Direct looked like a direct copy (50 %) of English film "300". It has got very good response and everyone supported it including media. (I have not seen it, but saw the ads of action scenes and are exact copy from "300".)

NARTAKI Main theater of APTHARAKSHAKA tickets were sold for Rs.3000/= (Three Thousand !!) and yet no givers.Read today's BANGALORE TIMES for more details... This movie would be the biggest hit in kannada film industry from it's inception The abhisheka's,The milk, curds, honey being poured, the festivity, all across should have been seen. This was bigger then the biggest of celebration any star had past 02 decades. Vishnu is a class breed
