Comedian Komal Kumar, who has played comic role alongside late Dr. Vishnuvardhan in the movie Aaptha Rakshaka, has said that several stars are eager to watch the film and Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is one among them. The actor is very happy with the response he"s been receiving for his role.
Talking to the Bangalore Times, Komal says that Aaptha Rakshaka is a blockbuster in Sandalwood. The film has collected rupees three crores in the first week. According to him, this kind of success was seen many years ago. "It"s a big milestone in the Kannada film industry," says Komal. Meanwhile, he does not forget to say, “I miss Vishnu sir."
However, Komal had made the headlines after he opted out of director Guruprasad's upcoming movie Director's Special. Recently, he has completed shooting for his forthcoming movie Appu Pappu. He is also acting with his brother Jaggesh in Lift Kodla. “I"ve also been offered some solo projects, which I"m looking into," says Komal.
