The release of Kannada movie Raam, which features Puneet Rajkumar and Priyamani in leads, has been postponed to the next week on December 25. Earlier, it was reported the the much-hyped movie would be released on December 18. Sources claim that the movie bosses have delayed its release to avoid the clash between two big movies.

Golden star Ganesh's Maleyali Jotheyali was released last week and it is doing well at the Box Office now. So the producers of Puneet Rajkumar's Ram decide to delay the movie release and avoid the clash at the Box Office. But Kallara Santhe has released on schedule today.

The movie Ram is a remake of the Telugu movie Ready and it has been directed by Gaja fame K Madesh. Besides direction, he has also penned story and  screenplay for it. The specialty of the movie is that Tamil actress Priyamani is debuting in Kannada with this movie.

The movie Raam has K Krishnakumar"s camera work, V Harikrishna"s music, Deepu S Kumar"s editing, Paliniraj and Ravivarma"s stunts, MS Ramesh"s dialogues and Mohan B Kere"s art direction. Rangayan Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Shrinath, Sangeetha, Chitra Shenoy and many others are in the cast.
