What if Pooja Gandhi's two films Janumadha Gelathi and Maharshi turn out to be back-to-back flops at the box office? Sizzling Pooja is adding a new dimension to her career through her first thriller Anu. Pooja says that Anu came at a time when she had proved she was comfortable in simple homely girl roles. But Anu featured Pooja in the role of an action heroine, something she had never done before, and she bravely accepted the challenge. Now, Pooja is content with her performance in the film.

Pooja is not very comfortable with everyone talking about her swimsuit show in Kodagana Koli Nungitha. She says she does not regret donning the swimsuit and it was only for a couple of minutes that she appeared in it. Pooja is currently shooting for Iniya at Sakleshpur where her super hit Mungaru Male, was also filmed. She is fast learning Kannada and recently finished dubbing for Ninagagi Kadhiruve.
