Earlier, many debut actress like Deepika Padukone and Juhi Chawla appeared in South Indian films and then made their way to B-Town. Now model Nikki, who is a former national beauty pageant winner, is making her film debut in Sandalwood with the movie Mandahasa. She says that she will soon sign her first Bollywood film.

Nikki is originally from Mangalore, but she has spent most of her life in Mumbai. However, Nikki has learned Kannada. She has been communicating producer Basava Reddy and executive producer Veeresh in Kannada for the past three months. She says, "If all goes well, I should dub for my first film."

The debut actress will appear alongside Josh fame Rakesh and Star Singer contestant Chetan in the Kannada movie Mandahasa. After she won the national beauty contest, she started getting offers, but she determined to start her acting career with a South Indian films. She thinks that there is more creativity in South.

Nikki is planning to rock the Kannada film industry first and then move to Bollywood. Her debut movie Mandahasa is a musical romantic flick, Which is going on the floors today (December 15).
