KFCC president Dr. Jayamala has issued a direct reaction to the allegation made by Dr. Vishnuvardhan. Earlier, Vishnu had expressed his grief over not remembering Tiger Prabhakar on the occasion of Amrutha Mahotsava of Kannada Film Industry recently.
The president also slammed the reports stating that she was set to contest in the parliamentary election. She said, "Some portals and news papers have reported that I am going to contest in the parliamentary election from Bangalore North Constituency. I am not at all interested in the parliamentary election. I will continue to work as the president of KFCC.

Talking about the issue, Dr. Jayamala said, "Vishnuvardhan has not watched the clippings, which were screened on the first day of Amrutha Mahotsava. On that day, all the late actors were remembered and Prabhakar was one among them. I myself have seen this."The president also slammed the reports stating that she was set to contest in the parliamentary election.
