Senior artiste S Doddanna has been entertaining Kannada audience for several years. He is one among the rare actors of Kannada films. Doddanna started his career as a theatre artiste. Later, he moved to Kannada film industry as a character artiste.

Now, Doddanna has become versatile actor and today hardly very less number of movies release without him in it. He fits in whatever role he gets and he fills life into it. He has played different roles likes villain, comedian, police and other character roles. Especially, he is very successful as comedian.
