All the four venues and six screens are finally set for staging much-awaited Film Festival and delegate passes for the Festival are being issued briskly at the two festival offices one at the Vision Cinemas Complex on KH Road and the other Suchitra Cinema and Cultural Academy. Delegate passes can be purchased by the general public at both the venues for Rs. 500/- for the entire festival, while students of journalism and communication in all colleges and film schools and members of all film societies enjoy a concessional rate of Rs. 300. However, Separate passes will be made available at nil cost to those interested in attending the four day workshop on animation in cinema being held as apart of the Festival.

VN Subharao, who is the president of Suchitra Cinema and Cultural Academy, is the chairman and Mr. N Vidyashankar is the Executive director of the Festival committee.
A week long festival Will showcase outstanding films of the World Cinema along with several packages of films which include country-focus on Italy and China. The programme includes a retrospectives from well-known filmmakers such as Kim Ki Duk from South Korea, Dan Wolman, from Israel, and French Filmmaker Alain Resnais. Besides this, documentary and Indian regional films will be screened, too.
