[an error occurred while processing this directive]After immersing himself in politics for five years, B.C. Patil returns to the silver screen through the big budget film Salute. This is the 14th film from his banner Om Shakthi Production and also his fifth directorial venture. Patil, who has been elected to the Legislative Assembly twice, is also donning the lead role.
Patil held a press meet in Bangalore recently to talk about his film. Salute will start shooting in the first week of March. The song recording has already started under the direction of music director Sai Karthik. Shooting will be held in Bangalore, Belgaum, Hubli and Davanagere; interestingly, he is not going abroad for song shooting. A famous actress will be chosen as the heroine. Niranjan Babu, who handled the camera for Anu will be the cameraman for Salute.
