In 2008, Sandalwood was dominated by hero-oriented films with action and violence. But several actresses shone and displayed their talent and beauty through their mind-blowing performances in certain films. It's not easy to select just five actresses from the pool of buzzing talents in Sandalwood. 2008 saw a large number of actresses debuting in Kannada; all of them are equally talented and beautiful. Remake trend returns

In the wake of the decision by the Karnataka Government to exempt remake films from entertainment tax, a number of producers are coming forward to cash in on the opportunity to remake hit films from other languages, especially Telugu. Veteran actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan, who is currently acting in Master with Suhasini, has accepted the remake of the Telugu superhit Ma Nanaku Pelli made a decade ago. Challenging star Darshan has agreed to act in the remake of the hit Telugu film.....

Darshan-Dinakar: Brothers in arms

Challenging star Darshan and his brother Dinakar will come together for another film in the near future. Earlier, Darshan had acted in a guest role under the direction of his younger brother Dinakar in Jothe Jothehalli with Premkumar and Ramya in the lead. In Sarvantharyami, meaning omnipresent, Darshan will be the hero. Dinakar makes it clear that this is not a mythological film as the name suggests, but a commercial film. He will start shooting for this film after his marriage.....
