The talkie portions of the film Theertha, directed by Sadhu Kokila and produced by Sreeram, Gopi and Kumar, is completed. This film starring Sudeep and Anant Nag in the lead has Mumbai based actress Saloni as the heroine. Guru Kiran has scored the music.
Director Sadhu Kokila said that the film was a real challenge to him, as he has got two best actors like Anant Nag and Sudeep acting in two important roles in the film. "What I find in them is a spirit of challenge and a passion to excel. This element has given me some degree of hope that the film will mould in the fashion that I had anticipated," says Sadhu. He is very happy about the work done so far. "When I was editing the film, I was so emotional that many a times I wondered what I could do with those exceptional sequences," said Sadhu.
Two songs of the film will be shot abroad and one song will be shot in a set.
