Sharmila Mandre made her acting debut with Sajni, starring Dhyaan in the lead. The young actress, who hails from a family of producers, wanted to become an actress from a young age. She also completed an acting course in London before she made her debut into films.
After Sajni, she was seen with Ganesh in Krishna and in filmmaker Vijayalakshmi Singh's Ee Bandana. Sharmila has now signed a new film, Navagraha, starring Darshan, directed by Dinakar Togudeepa and produced by Meena Togudeepa Srinivas.
