[an error occurred while processing this directive] Bhushan Geechi, whose sensational line drawings and unique sketches for superstar Upendra's debut film A, was a main factor for the film's success, is now himself wielding the megaphone after designing for nearly 70 Kannada films in eight years.

Under his original name Nagabhushan, Geechi is directing Nanna Olavina Banna, with quite a few of his Ken School of Arts students. The film will naturally be full of colour.

Debutant director Nagabhushan is making use of the surrealism style of painting. "Somasekhar, the hero, is an art student and heroine Shanthala is his muse. Artist Hadapa's son Umesh, famous line drawing exponent B.K.S. Verma, principal of Ken School of Art are all acting in this film," informs Nagabhushan.

[an error occurred while processing this directive] The film will be shot using 'wiper' camera by Nagesh Acharya, the cinematographer. In just 35 days, the main parts of the movie has been shot. Somasekhar, from Bilmangala near Devanahalli, is also a student of Ken School of Art, which is producing the film.

Ashwini, Shanthala and Deepa are the three heroines. V. Manohar has scored music for the five songs in this film.
