Bhanupriya signs Kannada film

Veteran actress Bhanupriya has done more than hundred films in various languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. Often referred to as the "Other Sridevi", she is also an expert dancer. The actress has now been signed for a Kannada film, Mesthru, starring Devaraj in the lead.

Mahadev directs the film starring Devaraj as a Maths teacher and Bhanupriya as his heroine. Based on a real-life incident, the movie also stars Kollywood actor Mansoor Ali Khan in a pivotal role.
