Of the two biggie (Lava Kusha and Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe) scheduled for release last Friday, only Upendra and Shivarajkumar's Lava Kusha could make it to the theatres. Two new films slated for release this Friday are actor turned director Vijayalakshmi's Ee Bandhana and Vijaya Raghavendra starrer Naanu Neenu Jodi.
Ee Bandhana, starring Vishnuvardhan and Jayapradha in the lead, is produced by Vijayalakshmi and husband Jai Jagdish. Others in the cast includes Darshan, Jennifer Kotwal, Ananthnag, Sharmila, Jai Jadeesh, Thara, Doddanna, Ramesh Bhatt, Mandip Rai, Vishwas, Renuka, Raghu Samartha, Jayashri and Arundathi Jatkara. Mano Murthy helms the music.
Naanu Neenu Jodi, directed by Nanjunde Gowda, stars Vijaya Raghvendra and Madhumita in the lead. Hamsalekha helms the music.
