Actress Rachel Weisz is likely to star in the upcoming movie The Bourne Legacy. Sources claim that The Constant Gardener actress is now allegedly in deep talks with the bosses of Universal Pictures for the female lead in the film. If the deal is sealed, she will star opposite Jeremy Renner in the flick.
The Bourne Legacy is directed by Tony Gilroy, who will also co-write the script with Joshua Zetumer and George Nolfi. The film is produced by Frank Marshall, Pat Crowley, Jeffrey Weiner and Ben Smith. Jeremy Renner has been roped in to play the hero. If everything goes well with Weisz, she will reprise the role of heroine in the film.
However, Rachel Weisz has bagged a series of awards for her role in The Constant Gardener. The brunette beauty will next be seen starring opposite Daniel Craig in Dream House. She was reportedly in talks for the role of villainous Evanora in Oz, the Great and Powerful. But her scheduling conflicts led her to drop this movie. She will start shooting for The Bourne Legacy in September.
