Lindsay's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, in a release statement on Thursday, June 2nd confirmed that the electronic device had gone off due to some reason. He was quoted as saying, “When a representative from the monitoring company went to her home, the representative found Lindsay there." She also said that the police officials replaced the faulty device.
The actress, who was accused of stealing a $2500 necklace, has been serving the sentence of house arrest since May 26th and is expected to be in confinement for 35 days. As per the house arrest rules and regulations, the 24-year-old actress is only allowed to go out in-case of medical appointments and to visit the probation department. She is prohibited from consuming alcohol or narcotics. However, she can have visitors.
