Joe Pesci to play Travolta's deputy in John Gotti biopic

Joe Pesci has been roped in to play John Travolta's deputy in mobster John Gotti biopic. The actor has confirmed the news and has expressed his happiness over being a part of the project.

Joe Pesci will be reprising the role of caporegime of the Gambino crime family and close associate of John Gotti. The actor has said that he is delighted to work with his friend and director Nick Cassavetes.

"I'm really happy to be making this picture with my good friend Nick Cassavetes. It's going to be a great experience and a rare opportunity to look inside the life of Gotti", the WENN quoted the actor as saying.

Gotti: Three Generations is mainly based on the relationship of John Gotti Sr, and his son John Gotti Jr. The movie is directed by Nick Cassavetes and produced by Marc Fiore.
