The Warner Bros Pictures group has realised its mistake and taken back the trailer from the film. In a statement, the studio says, "In our haste to meet the placement schedule for this trailer, we failed to properly vet the final version with the MPAA. We acted immediately to correct the mistake and removed the trailer from screens."
However, none has filed a complaint against the trailer of The Hangover 2. But Warner Bros. is reportedly making changes to the footage and show it on theaters again on April 15 in front of Scream 4, which is also R-Rated film. The movie is scheduled for release in the US on May 26.
