Ever since it was announced, the movie The Hobbit has been in news for one or other reason. The latest buzz about the film is that Robert Kazinsky, who was on board to play Fili the dwarf, has walked out of it. Director Peter Jackson has also confirmed that Kazinsky is leaving The Hobbit to return home for personal reasons. His departure will not affect the production of the film.

Peter Jackson took to his Facebook page to announce Robert Kazinsky's departure. "I am sad to report that Rob Kazinsky, who was cast in the role of Fili, is having to leave The Hobbit and return home, for personal reasons. Rob has been terrific to work with and his enthusiasm and infectious sense of humor will be missed by all of us."

Meanwhile, the director also made it clear that Rob's absence will not affect the production. He further said, "I should say that Rob's departure will not affect ongoing filming of The Hobbit, nor will it impact work done to date, as we had yet to film much of Fili's storyline."

However, on his Twitter account, Robert Kazinsky has thanked Jackson and his staff. He tweeted, "Thanks for all your support, Peter and team have been the most wonderful and supportive team to work for and it's with a truly sad heart that things have turned out this way."
