London (ANI): Popular Frank Baum's story, The Wizard of Oz, may soon be made into a 3D film. Bosses at Warner Bros are apparently looking at two different projects. The team behind the Twilight franchise apparently has adapted the story to target teen audience.

Meanwhile, the other project, still untitled, has a darker theme and is contemporary. It revolves around Dorothy's granddaughter who returns to Oz to fight the forces of evil. Josh Olson has reportedly penned the script for the film, reports the Telegraph

Seemingly, Warner Bros has been inspired by the success of new 3D film Alice in Wonderland.

I would like to continue my previous comments. I ran out of space. I was saying in fact the 1939 movie is my all-time favorite movie. Surely there are people out there somewhere who feel as I do about this. Someone in Hollywood needs to wise up and realize that a Wizard of Oz movie made as close to the original book as possible would be a gold mine!

Robert Downey Jr. would be perfect for the role of the Wizard. That said, why can't someone make a Wizard of Oz movie that is true to the original book written by L Frank Baum? In the original book, all the things which took place actually happened. They were not a dream, Dorothy was not sixteen years old, and Oz was an actual place. Also in the book there were many more adventures and characters than were in the 1939 classic movie. Don't get me wrong, I love the 1939 movie version, in fact it...
