New York (ANI): After investigative journalist Kitty Kelley claimed in her new book that pianist/composer John Tesh bolted on Oprah Winfrey in the middle of the night, he has confirmed that he had once dated the talk show host.
Tesh, 57, revealed on April 12 that he and Winfrey, 56, dated for awhile when they first started out as reporters. “Oprah and I were cub reporters in Nashville nearly 40 years ago and we dated for a short time," the New York Daily News quoted him as saying. “We remain friends to this day," he added.
Kelley"s “Oprah", which hits bookshelves on April 13, claims Tesh bolted in the middle of the night because of the “social pressure" of being half of an interracial couple.
