London (ANI): Hugh Hefner may be 84 years old now but he knows how to bounce back in love, and announced that he is set to get married again. The Playboy founder announced on Twitter his engagement to 24-year-old girlfriend and December 2009 Playmate Crystal Harris, reports the Daily Mail.
Hefner, married twice before, told his followers on Christmas Day that Harris burst into tears when he presented her with an engagement ring on Christmas Eve. “After the movie tonight, Crystal and I exchanged gifts. I gave Crystal a ring. A truly memorable Christmas Eve," he wrote. “When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears. This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory," he added.
And to make it absolutely clear, Hefner later tweeted again, adding: “Yes, the ring I gave Crystal is an engagement ring. I didn't mean to make a mystery out of it. A very merry Christmas to all." Harris, who met Hefner on Halloween in 2008, started dating him in January 2009.
Hefner, who founded Playboy in 1953 with Marilyn Monroe as his first cover girl, has been married twice before. He first wed Mildred Williams in 1949, but they divorced in 1959. Earlier this year, he was divorced from his second wife and former Playboy Playmate Kimberly Conrad. They married in 1989.
