The trio finished 10th overall in the 2009 race and Leahey said the team was hoping to finish higher this year. “At the end of the day we are better prepared than we were this time last year," the Herald Sun quoted Leahey as saying. “Pete and Eric are a lot more advanced than they were last year and we are definitely in with a chance to win," he added. Over 40 cars are expected to take part in the fourth 12-hour enduro at Bathurst, which will also feature an alternative energy class for diesel, hybrid and LPG entries.
