The 48-year-old actor-director, who shot to fame when he played Dr. Doug Ross on the popular NBC drama ER in 1994, has starred in commercial and critical superhits like The Perfect Storm, O Brother Where Art Thou? and Ocean"s Eleven. And work is what still drives him.
"I suppose I could relax, ride my motorcycle, sit in cafes and enjoy the good life in Italy, but my work is what drives me," the Mirror quoted Clooney, as saying. "I come from a family that prided itself on accomplishing things and that kind of feeling resonates inside me. I have a very good life, but it wouldn't mean anything to me unless I felt that I was able to do some serious work and make some sort of contribution. I hate wasting time, so I need to keep pushing myself," he added.
