Angelia Jolie visits Haitian Refugees

Washington (ANI): Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie recently paid a visit to Haiti refugees in Dominican Republic. The 'Tomb Raider" star, who serves as a goodwill ambassador for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and UNICEF, visited Haitian children that are in the Dominican Republic to receive medical treatment following the devastating 7.0 earthquake, reports Radar Online.

The earthquake is said to have killed more than 200,000 people. She toured the pediatric wing of Dario Contreras Hospital in Santa Domingo with it"s director Hector Quezada and Gonzalo Vargas Llosa, the son of famed Peruvian writer, Mario Vargas Llosa. The 34-year-old star also met the President of the Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernandez at the presidential National Palace. It has also been reported that Jolie will travel to the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince.
