Patrick Swayze funeral to be held after cremation

Many fans and celebs are mourning the sad demise of Hollywood actor Patrick Swayze, who died on Monday after loosing his battle with pancreatic cancer. Patrick Swayze's mortal remains will reportedly be cremated first on Friday and his funeral will be planned later by his family and friends.

Website RadarOnline reported that the Dirty Dancing star is to be cremated within 48 hours (Friday). Then his ashes will be scattered on his New Mexico Ranch, which was his favourite place. He could often be found flying his private jet across the ranch and was well-loved by locals. Swayze's Rancho de Dias Alegres, which translates as 'Ranch of Happy Days', was turned into a wildlife reserve and timber farm by the actor.

"Swayze loved the ranch and visited whenever he could. Swayze turned his Rancho de Dias Alegres into a wildlife preserve and timber farm, he loved the rugged mountains and canyons of his ranch and the cowboy life he led there," RadarOnline reported.

However, the actor breathed his last on Monday in Los Angeles after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer. He went public with the disease in early 2008 and repeatedly denied reports he was close to death after learning the cancer had spread to his liver.

i feel like i lost a member of my own family.Patrick seemed to me to be a " what you see is what you get"man. He was taken away much to soon, but he will shine on forever.i am so glad he had such a wonderful wife& to have a marrage & a partner for so many years is truly a rarity -not just in the movie business- but in regular life im so glad he had that. my favorite movies were dirty dancing & ghost & having lost my husband of 40 years after a 5 year battle of stomach cancer i believe the love continues after death it's what keeps me going. you don't want them to go / yet you don't want them to suffer anymore / so you have to let them go & be in peace.Lisa Swazye you did a wonderful job !I'm sure his love for you will cross over to you & comfort you.
