Washington (ANI): Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson is keen to portray his favourite musician, Irish singer Van Morrison, in a movie. Until now, there are no plans to take the Brown Eyed Girl hitmaker's story to the big screen, but the 'Twilight" heartthrob is begging studio bosses to cast him if they ever pick up the idea of making a biopic of the musician.
"I'd love to play Van Morrison, but I doubt I would get the part," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Moviefone. Meanwhile, Pattinson has revealed that he was embarrassed to portray Edward Cullen in the hit film 'Twilight" because he feels that the character is nothing less than a perfect man, unlike him.
Despite an overwhelming fan following, the 22-year-old star said that he did not feel he was attractive enough to play the handsome vampire.
