Washington, (ANI): Paris Hilton has rubbished rumours that she is engaged to on/off boyfriend Doug Reinhardt. Hilton and Reinhardt split earlier this year but reunited recently. Reinhardt gifted Hilton expensive jewellery while the pair was on a vacation in Bora Bora, kicking off gossip that he proposed to the hotel heiress.
However, Hilton maintained the media made up the story. Contactmusic quoted Hilton's spokesperson as saying: "The rumour of Paris Hilton's engagement to Doug Reinhardt is inaccurate. The couple had a lovely time on their vacation and are happy together, however this is a false rumour and is just another example of bloggers inventing their own stories."
