Washington, (ANI): American actress Jamie Lynn Spears' boyfriend Casey Aldridge has been released from hospital, a week after he was injured in a car crash in Louisiana.
Aldridge, 20, the father of Spears' 10-month-old daughter Maddie, had to be airlifted to hospital on April 26, after his truck swerved into a ditch, following a night of celebrations at a cousin's bachelor party. He was admitted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson where he was treated for mild brain trauma and a fractured skull, and he was discharged from the hospital on May 1.
"Casey got home, and he's doing really well. He'll have to have some rest for the next few weeks. He's still got a headache, but everything looks good," Contactmusic quoted a source as telling People.com.
Police have hit Aldridge with a misdemeanour charge of careless operation of a vehicle, but authorities have ruled out both drink and drugs as a cause of the accident.
