Washington (ANI): Farrah Fawcett's doctor has trashed claims made by her son that her cancer problems had reduced her to a skeletal weight and said she was instead a 'reasonable' 101 pounds. Lawrence Piro said he had weighed the actress a week ago and found 'she was 101 pounds', which he tags 'a reasonable weight' at her condition.
He added the star is "continuing to eat as much as she can, and we're continuing to have a good array of nutritious food offerings so she can do that," reports Us magazine.
Her son Redmond O'Neal had alleged that his mother weighed a mere 86 pounds as he pleaded leniency during a LA court a hearing stemming from drug charges against him. Fawcett was discharged from a Los Angeles hospital on April 9 after she reportedly suffered internal bleeding not directly related to her cancer.
Prio added: "She's continuing to fight the battle."
