London (ANI): The results of DNA tests have confirmed that actor Jude Law is the father of Florida model Samantha Burke"s baby girl. The 24-year-old came into limelight when she announced earlier that she was carrying the Sleuth star"s child after a brief fling with him while he was filming new movie Sherlock Holmes in New York.
Burke gave birth to little Sophia last month (22Sep09) and she went ahead with DNA testing to prove the child's paternity. The model's representative, Eileen Kock, has confirmed Law as Sophia's father. "Samantha can confirm that DNA testing has conclusively established that Jude Law is Sophia''s father," the Daily Express quoted the rep as saying in a statement.
However, Law's publicist refused to comment on the statement, adding, "We don't discuss this. We consider it an entirely private matter."
