Benicio says Guevara is a saintly human at heart

Washington (ANI): Hollywood actor Benicio Del Toro has likened revolutionary leader Ernesto 'Che' Guevara to Batman. The The Argentine actor, who has played the role of Guevara in director Steven Soderbergh's four-hour epic, silenced critics of the leader by saying that the revolutionary was actually 'a warrior' with a very bad reputation.

"I remember Che being included in a TV show that showed pictures of terrorists. I was like, ''Why isn't (President Richard) Nixon there for the Vietnam war?'' You'd have to put a lot of pictures of other people there before you'd put Che's," Contactmusic quoted Benicio, as telling Latina magazine.

"We tell stories about Batman, and he was a type of Batman. No one can deny that he was trying to stop man exploiting man. Whether he was successful or not...," Benicio added. Benicio revealed that Guevara was actually a saintly human at heart and he was a principled man. "Two people who I met learned how to read and write because of him. It was really moving... The most revealing thing was that he (Guevara) was a human being," Benicio added.

Washington (ANI): Madonna has decided to chase her dressage dreams, and is training to become a top horse rider at the FTI Equestrian Festival at Wellington, Florida. The 'Material Girl' hitmaker, who previously suffered three cracked ribs, a fractured collarbone and broken hand after a horse threw her in 2005, flew in esteemed British trainer Daisy Trayford to the U.S. Trayford described the Queen of Pop as a "dream pupil", insisting that the singer displayed her determination and commitment.....

McCartney and son team for an Album

Washington (ANI): Sir Paul McCartney has teamed-up with his musician son James to make a new album. After years of living as a recluse, James is attempting to father's footsteps and is getting plenty of help from the former Beatle. "My son James plays guitar. We're making a new album with him," Contactmusic quoted Macca, as saying on U.S. TV talk show The View. Previously, James co-wrote a number of his dad's solo songs, and joined him.....

George Harrison's son's rock band debut on TV

London (ANI): English rock guitarist George Harrison's son Dhani's rock band is all set to make its debut on television, after agreeing to appear on the American show Late Night With Conan O'Brien next month. Dhani, 30, and his band thenewno2 were keen to maintain a low profile ever since they formed in 2006, and only performed small gigs in the US and on the Internet. "Dhani doesn't crave the spotlight and his group has remained low-key," the Daily.....
