Ashley Judd targets Sarah Palin

Washington (ANI): Ashley Judd has teamed-up with Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund to launch a Web-based campaign targeting Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's 'anti-conservation agenda' and 'attack on wolves and bears'. The organisation has launched the campaign with a new Website, EyeonPalin.org.

In a video, the actress condemns Palin for allegedly promoting the aerial killing of wolves in Alaska, and goes so far as to accuse Palin of proposing bounties for severed forelegs of killed wolves. "It is time to stop Sarah Palin and stop this senseless savagery," Politico.com quoted Judd, as stating in the ad.

While launching the anti-Palin campaign, Judd said she is 'outraged by Sarah Palin's promotion of this cruel, unscientific and senseless practice which has no place in modern America.' "Because she is apparently determined to continue and expand this horrific program, I am grateful that Defenders will aggressively fight to stop her. I am proud to be a part of that effort," Judd said.

This isn't the first time Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund, a progressive environmental organization, has taken aim at Palin over the aerial killings. During the presidential campaign, Defenders launched a national television ad campaign focused on the topic.

This "feud" is silly. The two of them should settle it the traditional way -- jellow-wrestling on pay-per-view. Depending on who wins, proceeds could be used to build more wolf sanctuaries or arming more hunters.

Why dosen't she move up to alaska and take her dog on a walk and see how she feels when she get surrounded by a pack of wolves and they attack her dog! This really happens up there. There are so many wolves that they come into towns and kill dogs! She shoulden't talk about things she doesen't have a freaking clue about. Same thing with the bears as well! Get real!

The Empty Hollywoodish people like Ashley Judd , who has no idea about the subject and who cannot care less about nature, who cares just about her own low rate of popularity - they just use highly rated name like Sarah Palin to make people notice them. After I heard Ashley Judd, I wanted to wash my hands and take whole shower - such dirt. Cheap and dirty. Don't hope people around are stupid and they don't understand that you need Sarah Palin name to lift up youself, for who nobody cares. Good luck.

Wolves are a problem here in Wyoming also. Between the bears and the wolves in Yellowstone Park, they have virtually annihilated all the other wildlife--it's sad. Too bad Ashley can't get a real job--one like Sarah has.

As a fellow resident of KY, we are all acquainted with the practices involved in maintaining balance in wildlife. Ms. Judd certainly knows this as well. She simply is unable to stay in the spotlight by peeling her clothes off any longer so has decided she is a political activist. Her real beef in not about the wolves it is the fact that Gov. Palin did not elect abortion as an alternative to unplanned preg for herself or her daughter. It is obvious Ms. Judd has more concern for wolves than for unborn babies.

Wow, Take a look at your own state Mrs. Judd. There are practices everywhere that are difficult to deal with concerning animals, but we do need to get facts and "get a grip"!! Attacking Sarah Palin on this is a CHEAP political shot!! Many more BIG issues to concern ourselves with at this point in time!

Get a grip Ashley and go back to acting! We don't care about the wolves, we care about our Country!!!
