London (ANI): Actress Kate Winslet may have put her Oscar dreams in jeopardy after the Golden Globe award winner failed to remember actress Angelina Jolie"s name in her speech while acknowledging other fellow nominees, according to a renowned film critic.

Barry Norman fears the omission may scupper the actress" chance of winning the coveted statuette for the Best Actress category for her role in the Revolutionary Road. "Kate's a wonderful actress and a great girl but forgetting Hollywood golden girl Angelina Jolie's name when acknowledging her fellow nominees Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Kristin Scott-Thomas at the Globes may have rubbed Academy voters up the wrong way, " the Daily Express quoted him as saying.

Kate has already won two Golden Globe awards for Best actress in Revolutionary Road and Supporting actress in The Reader. She has been previously nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Marianne Dashwood in 1995"s Sense And Sensibility and 2001's 'Iris' and Best Actress nomination for Titanic, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind and Little Children.

The Oscar's should have nothing to do w/that. Everyone slips every once in a while. What matters is the performance which is being nominated.

Haters shouldn't win! And I'm sure that was done on purpose. Come on girls we're dealing with women here.

Wow...this is RIDICULOUS. First off, it was Anne Hathaway's name she forgot to mention, and what the hell does Angelina Jolie have to the with winning an Oscar?
